In a large mixing bowl, whisk 2 eggs. Add ground beef, breadcrumbs, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, Kosher salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until everything is very well mixed.
Use a large cookie scoop to divide the meatball mixture into equal sized meatballs. Press each portion down into a flat disc, then place of mozzarella cheese. Carefully mold the ground beef. Roll into uniform meatballs.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add neutral oil then pan sear the meatballs, until golden brown. Use tongs to flip each meatball over.
Sprinkle on shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan, then transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake until warm throughout and the cheese inside and outside has melted.
Serve with fresh basil leaves and additional grated Parmesan, if desired.
