Ginger Scallion Sauce (For Dumplings, Noodles, & Meat)

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches scallions, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup ginger paste or a 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • ¾ tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • ½ cup neutral oil

Instructions

  • Prep the ingredients. Thinly slice two bunches scallions and grate ginger, if using fresh.
  • Combine ingredients. In a small bowl, combine ¾ tsp Kosher salt, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp rice wine vinegar, and ½ cup neutral oil, then whisk. Add sliced scallions and ginger, then stir to combine. Can be used immediately, but is best after at least 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in a fridge for up to 1 week.
