Combine chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl, then stir to combine.

Cook the Veggies

Place bell peppers, poblano, and onions in a bowl. Toss with olive oil and spice mixture. Remove pan from oven, then pour veggies on top into a thin layer. Cook under the broiler until charred, 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Season the Steak

Place a second baking sheet under the broiler. Place steak in a bowl, then toss with remaining oil and spice rub. The more you add, the spicier it will be.

Carefully remove the preheated baking sheet and pour the steak on top. Again, spread into a thin, even layer, then cook for 5 minutes under the broiler. No tossing required!
