I love cookbooks. Like, really truly adore them. Some people curl up by the fireplace with a murder mystery or a romance novel, while I’m over here in my cozy LL Bean slippers and an oversized sweatshirt poring over countless cookbooks (with a big glass of red wine).
While I have close to 100 cookbooks to draw inspiration from, these are my favorites. The ones I turn to again and again when I have a question about a technique or I want to branch out and try something new.
The biggest compliment I can give is that I would have zero hesitation about hosting a dinner party with a recipe from any of these books, regardless of whether I’d tried them before. I know, I know — you’re not supposed to do that, but…. that’s how strongly I believe in these chefs and their recipes. I hope you find some food inspo for yourself or loved ones, because my goodness, there are a lot of good eats in these books!
