It is no surprise that I love salmon. It’s quick-to-cook, endlessly adaptable, and when cooked properly, it melts in your mouth. In fact, I serve it to my family at least once a week. We especially love Salmon Rice Bowls. Rice bowls just feel easy. They’re a complete meal, nestled together, waiting to devoured by spoon or fork (my children have very strong opinions on this matter).
So what makes a salmon rice bowl? Well, literally *any* salmon recipe can be enjoyed over a grain. Whether you’re sticking with white rice or substituting it with something a bit healthier — steamed brown rice, quinoa, or farro — simply add a veggie that you love, pair it with one of our easy sauce recipes, and you’re good to go!
For instance, we make this Tender. Slow Baked Salmon at least once a month. While it’s not written as a bowl recipe, the leftovers are fabulous served over fluffy white rice with oven-roasted broccoli. Get creative!
